Chris joined EET in December of 2009 assuming the role of Test / Mechanical Engineer. His duties include test preparation, testing, mechanical component design, part fabrication and part procurement.
Chris is a recent graduate from RIT (February 2010) where he earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology. He graduated with an overall GPA of 3.55 and was on the dean's list for 75% of his academic career.
Chris left RIT with approximately 3 years of previous work experience; he worked at Delphi Corporation in Rochester in their Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) division for 2+ years. At Delphi he functioned as a Materials Engineer and then later as a Test Engineer for two different components groups within the SOFC group. After Delphi Chris left NY for a 6 month co-op assignment at Logan Aluminum - a large scale aluminum casting and rolling plant in southern Kentucky. At Logan he worked as a Mechanical Engineer where his tasks included designing and fabricating small to medium scale equipment and hardware for the plant, performing reverse engineering projects, and working on safety upgrade projects.
Chris is from Mexico, NY and currently resides in Henrietta; his hobbies include riding his motorcycle, playing guitar, going to concerts, and spending time with his friends and family.
